Relationships that Nourish
Finding love after abuse
Relationships that Nourish is a space for people coming out of abusive situations who seek relationships that are healthy. Together we will build skills and awareness that aid us in keeping ourselves safe while dating and in all of our interpersonal relationships. Using magical and therapeutic lenses, we explore the topics of boundaries, trust of self and other, observation, trauma healing, patterns of abuse, spotting red flags, and more. We will explore intuitive tools like tarot and plant spirit medicine to learn self-trust and bring healing to the effects of gaslighting on our spirit and psyche, and use journaling and discussion to work through questions that may arise.
There will be two guest lectures:
Embodied Writing as Survivor Magic: Crafting Spells for Healthy Boundaries with Jojo Donovan
Art for Self-Reflection with Lesley Beth of The Hollow Stalk
This five-week long course will meet every Friday from 6-9pm beginning June 1st. Class meeting dates and topics are listed below:

Accessibility information: there is a flight of stairs to get into the class space. The space is not scent-free and both a dog and a cat are on the premises though they will not be in the class space.
Water and tea is provided.
Cost: $200. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at sign up and will be included in the overall price (meaning you will only owe $150 after the deposit is paid).
Three sliding scale spots are available, and a payment plan is available to every attendee. Please contact me for more information, as both sliding scale and payment plans need to be pre-arranged.
Tuition in the class includes access to private online forums, a notebook, spell materials, two guest lectures, and a parting gift on the last day of class. I will be available outside of class time for a limited time of one-on-one support for each student by phone appointment. Attendees will get a 10% discount on any one of my services for the duration of the class. A donation of $20 per student sign up will be gifted to NAYA to support Portland’s indigenous community.
As part of a safer space policy I am required to know if you have been exposed as abusive or engaged in an accountability process for abusive or oppressive behavior. Failure to disclose may mean your removal from the class. Engagement in an accountability process does not automatically preclude participation, however this class is geared towards those who have been survivors of an abusive dynamic, rather than those who perpetuated and thusly may not be appropriate for those who have abused.
